When you have ordered your goods, using our delivery address and your customer reference, contact us to arrange our delivery to you.
What are we delivering?
It is essential for you to declare what you have ordered, as we do have restrictions on what we can deliver. We may also need to organise a 'two-man' delivery, for example. We will also need to know who your supplier is, and any reference numbers you may have been given, should we need to contact them on your behalf.
Preferred Delivery
There is no extra charge for expressing a preference, and we will do our utmost to achieve your preferred delivery, but we cannot guarantee a specific time. There are also four options in this section that will require additional information from you.
Information Box
Don't be afraid of giving us too much information, give us as much you can, using the information box. Tell us everything that you think could be relevant, for example if you are a shift worker and we are not to disturb you, if you ask for your goods to be left with a neighbour - remember to give us their address and phone number. If you want your goods delivered to your workplace, remember to give us the address details - and please ask your employer's permission! If you have requested a 'before/after' delivery, use the information box to give us the times, for example before 10am and after 3pm.
Help Us to Help You
We do not know how long it will take your supplier to deliver to our depot in the UK, so we cannot give you a certain delivery date. To avoid you having to wait in, we will ring you the day we receive your goods, to give you enough time to make your own arrangements. We will always try to deliver the following day, or even in some cases, the same day if that is convenient with you and we are in the area.
Re-delivery charges may apply if we try to deliver and find you are out. If we cannot get an answer when we call, we will of course, try to ring you to ensure you are not in the garden or visiting a neighbour. We realise unforeseen circumstances do arise, so
please call Customer Services with any last-minute change to your arrangements, as
soon as you possibly can. With this in mind, might we suggest you add our number (451440) to your mobile contact list, should a situation arise. For security reasons, we do not suggest you leave a note in your window.
Timed Delivery/Weekend Delivery
For delivery at weekends (Saturday after 12 noon and Sunday) and for deliveries at a specified time, there will be an additional charge, call customer services for a quote.
Additional Information
Use this box for any additional information that may be useful when we deliver, not necessarily in relation to your goods, for example "BEWARE OF THE DOG!" if he is unhappy with visitors and is likely to be loose in the garden (or his name if he is friendly), if your gate has a particular 'knack' to opening it, or if there is a security entrance to your flat. If your home is particularly out of the way, or difficult to find, directions would be appreciated, including any landmarks we should look for.
